  • Whats the deal with celebrity obsession?

What most people don't seem to understand, or atleast seem to ignore is the fact that celebrities are normal people! They're not people given amazing natural looks or perfect bodies! They're just airbrushed fakes. Here are some of my favorite celebrities without makeup to prove it:

Cameron Diaz: She's been in the tabloids a lot lately!

Jessica Simpson: Not nearly as glamorous as she was in the Dukes of Hazard, huh?

Penelope Cruz: Isnt she known for being one of the prettiest celebrities?

Renee Zellweger: I'll go easy on her. She's not really a headline grabber.

Anyway, I hope sometime in the future, people realize that the entertainment industry has taken a turn for the worst. The people that rule it are just like everyone else. They're not royalty! Haven't you noticed that you hear more about personal celebrity gossip more than their roles in groundbreaking movies or sales of records? It's ridiculous. People are aiming to hurt.

  • The most ridiculous show on TV...

What is going on with the new series, "Sunset Tan," on E!? As if the concept of watching material people pay $1300 for a tan wasn't enough, two of the main characters, the 'Olly Girls' just sent me over the edge. The two girls, Molly and Holly are a perfect example of why blondes are criticized in the world today. The two platinum blondes seem to have been fried excessively by the UV beds and it shows through their speech, actions and over all demeanor. The episode that especially irked me was when the Olly girls had to spray tan a corpse. untitled

The girl on the right, Molly, was 'singing' and speaking to the corpse, Frankie while she was spray tanning him. She even told the mortician that he wanted his ears to be tanned and his hair to be fixed while occasionally calling out, "Did you feel that Frankie? How is that tan Frankie? etc."

Get rid of the annoying Olly girls and the show Sunset Tan all together!

Here is the annoying video, if you dare:

  • paris hilton in jail...

Granted, Paris Hilton was not accused of committing murder, however, the fact that her 'celebrity' managed to get her out of jail just three days into her sentence is still sickening. Supposedly, she was suffering from depression and since she could not receive medication her sentence was reduced to house arrest. A lot of people are thinking that maybe it will still be punishment, but consider the following:paris_hilton_mansion_07

This is the house she will be living in for her house arrest sentence. I would gladly take on an ankle bracelet of house arrest to spend 45 days in this mansion. Hilton will be able to receive visitors, have parties and even have alcohol when her arrest was due to DUI charges.

Thankfully, someone has some sense in this case:

"Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was apparently unmoved by the pleas of Hilton's three lawyers to send her back to home confinement due to an unspecified medical condition. He ordered Hilton returned to a Los Angeles County jail to serve out the remainder of her 45-day sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case."

Thank goodness someone was still watching out for the justice system of America!

  • Entertainments downfalls...

lindsaylohanvanessaminnillo Obviously, society today is attracted to controvery and shock value, rather than the genuine talent in an actor or a singer. I myself prefer the Robert DeNiro legendary films or the laugh out loud Jim Carrey classics, but most prefer other wise. I wish everyone else was the same. I also wish that the media was not so obsessed with the lowlives in Hollywood. And yes, I called them lowlives. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, etc. are considered the 'it' girls only to Hollywood--not me!

I saw an article online about shocking photos of Lindsay Lohan and Vanessa Manillo. I have never beeb a fan of Lindsay Lohan. To me, she seems to be a stuck up snob too into drinking and partying. The reason why this girl gets so much media attention still shocks me. She does NOT deserve it but it seems as though she will not be disappearing any time soon.llohanknives

  • Sarah Silverman at the MTV Movie Awards

Did anyone else find Sarah Silverman's monologue at the June 3rd MTV Movie Awards obnoxious? The majority of her punchlines were filled with sexually explicit vocabulary. I used to like MTV when they really DID play music. I guess MTV truly went off the deep end--after all, why would MTV hire Silverman when their main consumers are preteens/teens? To me, it seems MTV is just adding to the downfall of the entertainment industry these days.

Silverman's remarks about Paris Hilton truly caught my attention. I am glad Hilton is not going to escape jail because of her status, but it does not give Silverman the right to be so disgusting. Here is a link of her joke about Hilton:

P.S.: Jack Nicholson's reaction is quite funny, however!
